Nobel Tile's New Pavilion at 2026 Bologna Fair: A Journey into Architecture and Ceramics

Architecture begins where the earth meets the sky. For thousands of years, humans have searched among stones, earth, and wood for the forms of habitation and the fundamental principles of space construction. In the pursuit of the ideal habitat, creators around the world have always aspired to a professional dialogue platform that balances aesthetic height and practical value.
The Italian International Ceramic and Bath Fair (CERSAIE), as the authoritative coordinate of the global building ceramics industry, brings together architects, designers, and material explorers from more than a hundred countries every year. Geometric structures contain the textures of billion-year-old natural stones, and diverse aesthetics converge here. This is a venue for the release of industry trends and a place for the collision of ideas.
In September 2026, Nobel Tile brought its new theme pavilion — 「循境」— to the Bologna Fair in Italy. With architectural order as its backbone and material language at its core, it follows the natural texture and the global human settlement context to build a deep exploration field about materials and spaces.
01 虚与实，循境相逢
Walk and sit, following the path of the environment, forgetting fatigue. With the path of the ruler, reach the boundless realm.
The pavilion is constructed with clean lines, vertical facades, and geometric blocks, with a clear and orderly layout. The exterior facade is composed of full-height panels, with lines crisscrossing, stable and open. As you enter the exhibition hall, the whole-panel display area, the small sample display area, the real scene experience area, and the island research area unfold along the graceful curve. Every arrangement follows the law, and every exhibit has a basis. The walls and partitions naturally enclose, with clear boundaries but not closed, allowing you to wander in the traceable path, towards the boundless vastness.
Light and shadow are the second texture of space. Hidden light strips and diffused light sources flow along the texture of the panels, light and dark intertwined, form and shadow blended, hard boundaries thus soft, static figures thus vivid. Just like the epitome of contemporary architectural evolution: form has its scale, and aesthetics has no limits.
02 万象归材，岩叙古今
Material is the most honest language of architecture and the core carrier of the pavilion's narrative.
Large-format slabs build a massive visual anchor. The 1600×3200mm format is presented in its entirety on the full-height panels, with a continuous texture and magnificent气势. Mirror Lake Dawn (Taj Mahal Pearl) replicates the natural softness with a warm matte surface, flowing a high-end texture in tranquility; the new overseas product Brazilia White (Mont Blanc Ultra) debuts with a pure base color and an extended texture, combining the vastness of the wilderness and the beauty of modern simplicity; and Thousand Peaks Green (Verde Vittoria) lays out the green脉络 on the surface, condensing the emerald and magnificent of mountains and rivers into the narrative language of contemporary space. There are also high-end boards such as Four Seasons Pink and Four Seasons Rosa, which supplement the aesthetic dimension with their permeable texture and dynamic light and shadow, extending more possibilities for design applications.
The tile display area presents another layer of narrative. The 900×1800mm and 750×1500mm slabs, with 5 styles ranging from luxury, retro to minimalist; and 11 combinations of 1206 specification panels and cut samples, interpreting a more flexible design expression — Super White Hole, White Hole, and Rice Hole inherit the simple language of the hole stone family for billions of years, and multiple Prague series spread the warm tonal variations between light gray, camel gray, and limestone white; the new product Portland Stone with a new texture debuts, standing side by side with popular items such as Snow White and Fish belly Gold, each one becoming a new possibility for space expression in its own scale.
03 境生象外，人居落地
In a corner of the pavilion, the real scene completes the final narrative of product landing. When Four Seasons Pink and Thousand Peaks Green resonate with each other, different textures of boards blend into one in the real-life scene. Natural textures and daily spaces blend together, cold building materials are given a sense of life temperature — within the boundary is the daily life, and beyond the boundary is endless imagination.
As you walk along the pavilion, the dialogue between materials and spaces is always going on. The boundaries of design are constantly tested and reshaped, and all conceptions about human settlements have concrete landing points here. The majesty of stone, the warmth of wood, and the softness of fabric are no longer separate expressions, but overlap and coexist in the same space. Materials are not just for covering, but integrate into daily life, carry emotions, and respond to the needs of life itself. Walking through them is a complete narrative about human settlements.
04 循路而行，无界之境
From a shelter from the wind and rain to a landmark carrying civilization; from the carving of a stone to the accurate reproduction of a slab — architecture is always answering the same question: how to coexist better with this world. The answer is hidden in every texture, in every improvement of craftsmanship, in every quietly laid slab.
Following the path is an arrival, but also a departure. The journey of thousands of miles will converge here.
