Lin Weihua: Coming to the ZHUOMUWANG王府 is indeed an experience of Eastern aesthetics and the grand craftsmanship of our great nation.
Du Changjiang: Yes, I will report to you on the latest achievements.
Lin Weihua: I have been closely following the Chairman's VIP Reception Hall.
Du Changjiang: The Chairman's VIP Reception Hall combines our court aesthetics with Dongyang wood carving, which is not just a new court style but an innovative blend of Dongyang wood carving with many new elements.
Lin Weihua: So the feeling is indeed different. Upon entering, there is a sense of modern court style.
Du Changjiang: We have integrated the artistic techniques of Western painting, such as that of Lang Shining, with embroidery to express it, and combined it with the redwood paneling of the redwood furniture. This is a combination of Burmese rosewood and dark red sandalwood.
Lin Weihua: Lang Shining is most famous for his paintings of horses. He was the first Western-style painter in the Qing Dynasty.
Du Changjiang: His "Hundred Horses" painting, in the year of the horse, embodies the spirit of steady progress and cultural significance, combining it with the Chairman's 50 years of dedication to one thing. At the same time, we have innovated on the basis of court style. We have combined the techniques of Jing Tai Lan, gilding, and glasswork with intelligence to create this decorative and practical lighting. It is better than the court because it has contemporary functional upgrades, but it still maintains the decorative meaning and cultural color.
Lin Weihua: This is the contemporary interpretation of the court.
Du Changjiang: Then as you enter this area, you will find the Chairman's study, where there is a thin carving of "Purple Gas from the East" and "Laozi Crossing the Pass." The thin carving of Dongyang wood carving with gold sandalwood creates a jump color, bringing out the images of the characters and pine trees.
Lin Weihua: "Purple Gas from the East" is a classic Chinese cultural symbol with a very positive meaning.
Du Changjiang: Because I have created a study with the theme of the Song Dynasty history, so on this side, there is the "Ruihe Diagram," and on the other side, there is the "Thousand Li River Painting." The bookcase at the back is designed with a Jing Tai Lan shape, integrating these elements of court style and cultural elements from various dynasties.
Lin Weihua: Entering such a hall immediately allows one to feel the top-level representation of Chinese culture.
Du Changjiang: At the same time, we have integrated Dongyang wood carving, which is very often showcased internationally, with the theme of "Fulu Lianmian" (Abundance and Prosperity Continuously), a gourd, symbolizing smooth career progression.
Lin Weihua: The design of redwood furniture is very important. Every detail conveys the meticulous attention of ZHUOMUWANG. Every detail, whether it is the fusion of craft or the expression of culture, is very beautiful.
Du Changjiang: The advantage of ZHUOMUWANG lies in the fact that our Chairman himself is a master of wood carving. Secondly, we have been making redwood furniture for many years, including the Chairman's "China Dream" series, which is a part of Dongyang wood carving art furniture. Including our exhibition in Los Angeles, invited by the Ministry of Culture, our redwood furniture is also very strong. Thirdly, ZHUOMUWANG is a pioneer in redwood furniture integration, the first redwood enterprise to do redwood furniture integration. So we have organically integrated Dongyang wood carving, redwood furniture, and redwood furniture integration for many years, and only then have we been able to create the Chairman's VIP Reception Hall.
Lin Weihua: So this can be said to be a summary and leadership of ZHUOMUWANG for the industry at a certain stage.
Du Changjiang: We call it "redwood integration" because not all integration necessarily uses redwood, but we have adhered to our traditional culture and the essence of redwood furniture, so we call it "redwood integration." Here is a multi-layered carving technique of Dongyang wood carving that represents "Everlasting Prosperity" and "Splendor of the Motherland," which is placed at the entrance as a background.
Lin Weihua: So the Dongyang wood carving is grand and majestic, and it is a great showcase of this carving technique.
Du Changjiang: Because Dongyang wood carving often appears internationally.
Lin Weihua: It is known as one of the four major wood carvings.
Du Changjiang: We are also known as the World Capital of Wood Carving. In the integration of redwood integration, Dongyang wood carving has made a significant contribution.
Lin Weihua: This is a tea room. The ancient architectural culture of the ceiling is perfectly presented because there are several beams that are raised, creating a three-layer ceiling: a square ceiling, an octagonal ceiling, and a round ceiling, layered on top of each other.
Lin Weihua: Each one is decorated with Jing Tai Lan, perfectly blending with the wood carving.
Du Changjiang: On the side is dark red sandalwood, with color and a thematic layering. In fact, we are multi-material, looking simple and elegant, but the details are very refined. This is the ceiling design, with an archaizing rope pattern, symbolizing spiritual significance. At the same time, a luminous marble is used, symbolizing "a good view all year round" with silk feather sandalwood carving.
Lin Weihua: The integration of redwood with various intangible cultural heritage crafts and contemporary marble adds a sense of fashion and modernity.
Du Changjiang: Now we want to embrace all things, integrating the forms of wood carving, decorative art, and wood carving into ZHUOMUWANG's integration system. This is also a tribute to wood carving by our Chairman, who has been a master of wood carving all his life.
Lin Weihua: This kind of integration proves that redwood integration is both intangible cultural heritage and can well serve contemporary life.
Du Changjiang: So we hope to present the integration method, direction, and result through the Chairman's VIP Reception Hall, not only for consumers but also for our industry peers, as a reference for development direction.
