The DO U upgraded cotton-filled adjustable portable moon lounger (hereinafter referred to as the "DO U high-back moon chair") boasts a "90cm ultra-high back + full cotton wrapping" as its core selling point, claiming to provide "full support from the waist to the neck." This article will explore the back design, cotton pad performance, and adjustment features to verify if it truly becomes the "resting station" in camping.
Traditional moon chairs typically have backs ranging from 70-80cm, only supporting the waist. However, the DO U high-back moon chair raises the back height to 90cm, extending to the back of the head. In actual testing, a 1.78-meter-tall tester sat comfortably with their head fully fitting the "headrest area" at the top of the backrest, the waist being fully supported by the widened seat surface to 45cm, and the legs naturally bending, creating a relaxing sensation similar to a "half-reclining sofa."
The backrest's curvature design is also scientifically designed. It features a "human engineering micro-curved" shape that fits the natural curvature of the spine, even after 2 hours of continuous sitting, the waist did not experience any pain. The backrest is filled with high-elastic foam and covered with fine Oxford cloth, feeling soft and breathable, not stuffy in summer.
The cotton pad of the DO U high-back moon chair is designed with "full cotton wrapping + high-elastic foam," with a thickness of 6cm and covered with pure cotton fabric, feeling skin-friendly and warm. In actual testing, in a 15℃ low-temperature environment, the cotton pad did not feel cold after 1 hour of continuous sitting, suitable for camping in spring and autumn.
The adjustment feature is another highlight. Users can switch between three modes - "upright (90°), slightly inclined (110°), and semi-reclining (135°)" - with a simple press of the side buckle, meeting the needs of reading, taking a nap, and deep rest. The adjustment structure uses thickened carbon steel pipes (diameter 2.8cm), and the bottom is equipped with non-slip rubber foot pads. Even on sloping grasslands (tilting angle about 10°), there was no sliding or overturning in the semi-reclining mode. The official specification is a load capacity of 250kg. We invited two testers weighing a total of 220kg to sit on it simultaneously, and the frame did not deform, the cotton pad rebounded quickly, proving that the structural strength is sufficient for multi-person use scenarios.
Despite being positioned as a "high-back lounger," DO U did not compromise on portability. The folded size of the high-back moon chair is 16×16×70cm, with a thickness of about 70cm, which can be stored in a car trunk or carried with a special storage bag. In actual testing, a female tester could complete the folding and unfolding operation with one hand, taking about 10 seconds, although slightly slower than a regular folding chair (usually within 5 seconds), but considering its complex functionality, this performance is already excellent.
