During the May Day holiday, the 15th Business School Desert Challenge (referred to as "Sand 15") took place in the Tenggeli Desert of Inner Mongolia. Over 3,000 MBA/EMBA students from more than 110 business schools embarked on a three-day, two-night trek across the desert, embodying the spirit of the event: "environmental protection, cooperation, perseverance, and responsibility."

This event, recognized by the World Record Certification Agency (WRCA) as the "largest desert trekking event in the world," has become one of the most influential outdoor cultural events among Chinese business schools. This year, Sand 15 welcomed a striking strategic partner: La-Z-Boy, the pioneer in global functional sofas.

In the heart of the Tenggeli Desert, La-Z-Boy's "Comfort Energy Supply Station" became a unique corner of Sand 15. The most attention-grabbing feature was the "Jungle" eco-friendly single chair, named after La-Z-Boy's vision for sustainable home furnishings: to make every chair a guardian of nature rather than a consumer of it.
The fabric of this chair comes from La-Z-Boy's self-developed Conserve environmental technology. Every meter of fabric is made from recycled PET plastic bottles, which are cleaned, crushed, drawn, and woven. Approximately 50 discarded plastic bottles are needed to make a single "Jungle" chair. These could have ended up in oceans, landfills, and persisted for centuries without degrading, but here they are transformed into a source of comfort.

However, the "Jungle" does not sacrifice comfort for environmental protection. It is equipped with La-Z-Boy's seven exclusive technologies, including the classic 16-position ratchet technology, which provides 16 adjustable angles for the backrest to fit the body's posture. The independent footrest and backrest operate independently, with the footrest locking securely to support up to 59 kilograms. The iClean magic self-cleaning fabric uses 360° nano superhydrophobic technology to create a protective structure before weaving, creating a breathable, breathable, stain-resistant, and splash-proof fabric that is easy to maintain.

After the extreme trekking, participants tiredly visited the exhibition hall to experience the "Jungle" sofa.
