World Intellectual Property Day: Jinfeng's 30-Year Journey

On April 26, 2026, World Intellectual Property Day arrived as scheduled. This year's theme is "Intellectual Property and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate". Coinciding with Jinfeng's 30th anniversary, this starting pistol-like slogan is not only for the race track but also a true reflection of the company's journey over the past three decades.

From 1996 to 2026, Jinfeng has transformed intellectual property into competitive strength with over 1000 patents, 144 international certifications, and more than 110 standards set, illustrating how a Chinese manufacturing enterprise has turned intellectual property into a competitive advantage.

From 0 to 1000+, a 30-year patent layout journey

In the 1990s, the domestic pipeline industry was almost blank. Starting with the introduction of the first aluminum-plastic composite pipe production line, Jinfeng has gradually established a full-chain innovative system covering research and development, production, and application. These three decades are a long-distance race in patents, from nothing to something, from catching up to leading.

By the end of 2025, Jinfeng's patents at home and abroad exceeded 1700, including 211 domestic invention patents, 586 utility model patents, and 66 foreign-related invention patents. The number of effective invention patents ranked among the top in the industry. In 2025, Jinfeng's "Three-way pipe fitting assembly equipment and method" won the China Patent Excellence Award. This patent, through modular design and precise control technology, solved the bottleneck problems of low assembly efficiency and poor accuracy in pipeline engineering for a long time, significantly improving production efficiency and product quality stability.

In intellectual property management, Jinfeng has also received national recognition. In 2024, the National Intellectual Property Administration officially named Jinfeng as a National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, the highest honor given by the state for a company's intellectual property management work. Over the past thirty years, from one patent to a thousand patents, Jinfeng's intellectual property strategy has always been in line with the company's growth and deepening.

Jinfeng has led or participated in over 110 national and industry standards. In 2000, the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association standard "Technical Code for Pipeline Engineering of Building Water Supply Aluminum-plastic Composite Pipe" (CECS 105:2000) compiled by Jinfeng explicitly wrote "The design service life of aluminum-plastic composite pipe is 50 years." This has provided Jinfeng with a proof for "Pipe for fifty years" and promoted the systematic improvement of the entire pipeline industry's requirements for product durability.

From China to the global stage, a 30-year internationalization of intellectual property

The value of intellectual property is not only in its quantity but also in its global recognition. Jinfeng's intellectual property strategy has always been benchmarked against the highest international standards.

Jinfeng has accumulated 144 international authoritative certifications and owns five major international certifications from the United States NSF, the European Union CE, Germany DVGW, Spain AENOR, and the Netherlands KIWA——from product formula design to extrusion molding technology, establishing a quality control system throughout the product's entire life cycle. Over the past thirty years, Jinfeng has opened the door to the global market with intellectual property.

Patent landing products, a 30-year quality commitment

The ultimate value of intellectual property is not the number on the certificate, but the daily quality of life that ordinary people can feel. In reality, countless families are facing invisible hazards: within two or three years of moving into a new house, the water faucet is flowing slower and slower. When the water pipe is opened, the inner wall is full of slippery scale and bacteria. For families with the elderly and children, it is inevitable to worry about the hidden bacteria in the water pipes affecting health. The inner wall of traditional water pipes is rough, which is prone to pollution, and even if a pre-filter is added, the pipeline itself becomes the source of secondary pollution. This is not an isolated case but a common water problem for countless families.

With this insight, Jinfeng has converted patent technology into a solution that benefits everyone. Jinfeng PP-R ceramic core antibacterial pipe was born——its inner wall is as smooth as ceramic, relying on national patent technology, it solves the problem of scale formation and difficulty in cleaning of traditional water pipes from the root, keeping the water flow unobstructed for a long time; at the same time, it is equipped with silver ion antibacterial technology, and has been tested by the Guangdong Provincial Microbial Analysis and Testing Center with an authoritative certificate, with an antibacterial rate of up to 99.9% for Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, and has obtained the CIAA antibacterial certification. From "invisible hazards" to "visible protection", Jinfeng makes healthy water accessible to everyone.

This dedication has also received high recognition at the national level. In December 2025, Jinfeng PP-R ceramic core antibacterial pipe and PP-R steel core pipe were both selected into the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "Selection Guide for Good Materials for the Construction of Good Houses", and Jinfeng became the only pipeline enterprise listed in the directory. In the same year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology identified Jinfeng as a National Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise, with its PP-R healthy drinking pipeline system production technology reaching an international advanced level. This highest honor of China's manufacturing industry profoundly proves the successful path of Jinfeng from patent research and development to industrialization and localization. Over the past thirty years, Jinfeng has fulfilled its "Quality as Gold" commitment with one patent after another.
