When space frees itself from the constraints of function, the home becomes a laboratory for creativity. Architect and artist Chen Xuan, with her unique "happy philosophy," transforms the home into a spiritual paradise filled with possibilities.
Designer Chen Xuan:
Chen Xuan, a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, is the founder of Shangshang Architecture. With multiple identities as an architect, artist, and band leader, she explores "disharmony" and "boundaries" and translates them into bold and harmonious use of color and materials in her designs, focusing on creating a space aesthetics that resonates emotionally.
Home as a Laboratory: Abundant Happy Philosophy
"We define our home as a happy home."
Chen Xuan's home is her creative laboratory, where the collision of color and form is not accidental but a container for the fun of real life.
Here, design is not confined to functional divisions; every corner is prepared for gatherings, solitude, or spontaneous creation, forming a true "Fun House" in every sense.
Bathroom Space: Private Spiritual Narration
In the home, the most noteworthy space is the one that directly interacts with the body. When designing the bathroom, she views it as a place of personal spirit, carefully crafting color, material, and overall narrative to seamlessly extend and integrate into the overall atmosphere of the space.
Leijia's bathroom design, with its soft colors and unique materials, gently resonates with the personalized expression of the space, becoming a silent art presence in the space.
"Home is my whole world"
For Chen Xuan, home is her entire world—a place completely faithful to her will, where she can explore all kinds of possibilities without restriction. It is not about presenting some static perfection, but about continuously creating rich and full experiences, filling every corner with the joy of discovery and emotional resonance.
Home is the infinite extension of inner spirit. When designers view life as an ongoing experiment that constantly breaks boundaries, home becomes an organic entity that continues to grow. In the free interweaving of color, material, and form, it evolves into a complete world that carries individuality, happiness, and infinite possibilities.
Leijia bathroom, with its design that combines aesthetic quality and human关怀, quietly integrates into this never-ending narrative of space, witnessing the self-expression of every unique soul.
