From April 7th to 10th, Busan, South Korea hosted a grand event that blended technology and commerce - the LG InnoFest 2026 Asia-Pacific event. Serving as the climax of the 2026 LG InnoFest series, this event provided a premium platform for LG Electronics and various stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region to engage in in-depth exchanges and pragmatic cooperation. Around 200 core partners and media representatives from 20 Asia-Pacific countries gathered to focus on cutting-edge industry trends and explore new opportunities and paths for cooperation.

The event, themed "Innovation, Forward Together," showcased LG Electronics' latest products meticulously crafted for the Asian consumer's lifestyle. Notably, the exhibition featured a range of home solutions tailored to regional characteristics, including laundry, kitchen, and embedded products, designed to cater to the daily habits and needs of Asian consumers. The exhibition cleverly integrated widely recognized cultural elements from Asia, clearly illustrating how LG Electronics is leading and shaping the future of home life in the Asia-Pacific region with AI-driven innovation.
In the exhibition area, LG Electronics showcased a series of innovative products powered by AI technology, covering core home scenarios such as laundry care, kitchen, and tableware cleaning.


In the laundry care sector, LG introduced its full-line WashTower™, including a new 25-inch model custom-designed for Asian families, as well as existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions. These compactly designed products effectively save space, reflecting LG Electronics' deep insight into the complex living environment in Asia. The new top-loading washing machine model further upgrades the clothing care and washing performance, equipped with AI Direct Drive™ (AI DD™) technology that can intelligently optimize washing modes based on fabric type and stain level. The TurboWash™ 3D technology completes the entire washing cycle in just 30 minutes, significantly improving washing efficiency. The automatic dispenser reduces the hassle of frequently adding detergent, making the washing process more convenient. In addition, the LG WashCombo™ all-in-one machine achieves a stable and efficient drying effect through the变频热泵™ (Inverter Heat Pump™) technology, its significantly improved energy efficiency also responds to Asian consumers' concerns about electricity costs. For the commercial market, LG Electronics also launched laundry solutions with professional-grade functions, including customizable washing programs and open API connections, to meet the needs of high-frequency and long-duration operations.

In the kitchen and tableware care sector, LG Electronics' refrigerator products deeply reflect the diverse lifestyles and living habits of Asian consumers. The new Fit & Max design with zero-gap hinges achieves a seamless built-in appearance, saving wall space and maximizing storage capacity in compact kitchens. For the high demand for ice blocks by Asian consumers, LG Electronics' advanced ice-making solutions provide a variety of options, including crushed ice, ice cubes, ice water, and spherical ice, to meet diverse daily needs. In the tableware care aspect, LG Electronics' latest dishwasher stands out with its unique one-hour wash and dry cycle. The QuadWash™ Pro technology cleans tableware from multiple angles through four spray arms, high-pressure water jets, and microbubbles. The Dynamic Heat Dry+ technology utilizes moisture-absorbing materials to remove moisture, producing warm and dry air to enhance drying performance. Notably, the main models covering both the high-end and mass markets have reached the A+ energy efficiency standard, demonstrating LG Electronics' excellent performance in energy conservation and environmental protection. In addition, for the Southeast Asian market, LG has specially launched a customized built-in kitchen series, including ovens, cooktops, and range hoods, covering both B2B and B2C markets.
As a core part of LG Electronics' long-term growth strategy in Asia, the company extends innovative services beyond products and creates LG AI Home based on the "Affectionate Intelligence" concept, aiming to build a truly understanding smart ecosystem for families and life, opening a new era of "Zero-Labor Home".

At the event, LG Electronics brought this vision to life through three distinctive exhibition areas inspired by popular Korean dramas, creating an engaging and familiar experience space for partners. In these areas, LG Electronics vividly demonstrated how AI home can enhance the quality of daily life through greater convenience. With the support of the AI home hub ThinQ ON™, LG's AI-powered home appliances and IoT devices achieve seamless connection and collaboration, providing an intuitive and integrated home experience. ThinQ ON has been launched in the initial markets and is planned to be rolled out in Asia in stages, starting from Australia and Thailand.
The core of LG AI Home lies in "Affectionate Intelligence," which not only focuses on the devices themselves but also pays attention to understanding the user's life. Through the collaborative work of AI appliances and the ThinQ AI platform, LG AI Home can continuously learn, adapt, and evolve, providing users with more personalized and intelligent services, thus achieving the intelligent upgrade of the entire living space from individual devices.
To accelerate the implementation of AI home solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, LG Electronics held a live business meeting for selected market partners for the first time at this InnoFest, bringing partners closer through a dynamic interactive sales environment.

At the same time, LG Electronics has extended its innovative services beyond products through its global expansion plan for the LG Subscribe subscription service. This flexible home appliance subscription service is actively developing in key Asian markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Taiwan, providing consumers with convenient appliance use and comprehensive product care services.
