Recently, the launch of the 2026 National Green Smart Home Consumer Festival was held at the Hangzhou Aoyada Home Qiantang Mall. The event was organized by the China Building Materials Distribution Association, with the Home and Building Materials Market Committee executing and Hangzhou Aoyada Home co-hosting.

The 2026 National Green Smart Home Consumer Festival is a specific measure to implement the national policy of stimulating domestic demand and consumption, and to promote the implementation of consumption stimulation policies in the building materials and home furnishings field. This year marks the fifth consecutive year of the festival.
China Building Materials Distribution Association Vice President and President of the Home and Building Materials Market Committee, Zhang Hongyan, was interviewed by a reporter from Sina Home during the launch event, answering questions about the highlights, breakthroughs, and significance of the festival for the industry.

Zhang President introduced that the previous consumer festivals mainly focused on promoting consumption, but this year's festival has made an important adjustment in strategic goals. It aims to actively promote home and home improvement consumption while also driving enterprise quality improvement. She pointed out that this adjustment is to implement the spirit of the Ministry of Commerce to promote consumption stimulation as a long-term strategy, and to empower enterprises through changes in the form of the consumer festival and the implementation of action plans to achieve both promoting home consumption and driving enterprise quality improvement in the process.
In terms of the form of the event, this year's consumer festival, while maintaining wide participation, further promotes the "One City, One Policy" strategy, combining widespread participation with focused promotion. Zhang President said that by sorting out the successful experiences of key enterprises, it is hoped to form replicable and promotable model cases to improve the overall effectiveness of the event.
With a focus on enhancing consumer experience, this year's consumer festival further deepens its theme setting. Zhang President introduced that, building on last year's "Good Home, Safe Purchase," this year's event emphasizes service upgrade, setting the theme as "Good Home, Safe Purchase, Good Service, No Pitfalls," committed to making consumers willing, daring, and convenient to consume, and stimulating consumer potential and confidence through service upgrade.
Zhang President further introduced the five action plans of this year's consumer festival. The first is the Rich Consumption Scene Action Plan, fully leveraging the natural advantages of home and furniture stores in scene construction to improve consumer experience; the second is the Green Consumption Action Plan, focusing on promoting the popularization of green smart home products; the third is the Service Upgrade Action Plan, aiming to guide enterprises to improve service levels; the fourth is the Digital Upgrade Action Plan, using digital means to help enterprises improve quality and efficiency; and the fifth is the Green Public Welfare Action Plan, calling on enterprises to assume social responsibility and promote green consumption concepts through public welfare activities.
Regarding the effectiveness of enterprise participation in the consumer festival, Zhang President said that home and furniture stores, as an important participant in the consumer festival, have the core advantage of integrating resources to empower merchants. The important function of the industry association is to promote the implementation of national policies in the industry, and participating in the consumer festival means that the store and the association work together to promote the implementation of the national policy of stimulating domestic demand and consumption in the region, which is fundamentally different from promotional activities organized by enterprises themselves.
At the same time, the association will focus on cultivating and supporting participating enterprises in the process of promotion, helping them to achieve comprehensive development in innovation and upgrade and service improvement. This year, the specially established "First City Launch Unit of the Consumer Festival" will be a key empowerment and cultivation object, improving the quality and efficiency of enterprises while promoting consumption.
