Red Star Macalline M+ China High-End Interior Design Competition 2025
On March 23rd, the Red Star Macalline M+ China High-End Interior Design Competition 2025 Award Ceremony came to a close in Shanghai. Hosted by Red Star Macalline, co-hosted by San Cao Shu, strategically partnered with TOTO, and supported by Vilano, this industry gala also saw the unveiling of the M+ Design Center's three-year plan. Red Star Macalline proposed a new goal, "30+10," aiming to create 30 M+ Design Center flagship benchmarks in 27 cities across China, and to establish "Material Libraries" in 10 of these cities. These libraries will introduce new materials and source factories, bridging the "last mile" for designers in selecting materials. It is anticipated that by 2027, the M+ Design Center will have connected with 20,000 designers.
As an important part of the Red Star Macalline design ecosystem, the M+ High-End Home Improvement Design Center has already built over 700,000 square meters of physical space, with 1,700 design studios入驻, linking more than 7,000 designers, hosting over 500 events annually, and generating a total of 170 million yuan in measurable business leads. The 2026 season of the M+ China High-End Interior Design Competition has also been launched, covering 18 provinces and cities across China. Designers can now register for the competition at Red Star Macalline malls in various regions.
Li Yupeng, the Chairman of Red Star Macalline Home Group, announced the upgrade of the company's mission to "Create a Better Home Life," and clarified the new strategic positioning as "a new commercial operator for home life" and "a service provider for the home industry ecosystem." Red Star Macalline is using design as a link, transitioning from "scale aggregation" to "ecological symbiosis," and reconstructing the value chain of the home industry.
