On March 12th afternoon, the 2026 Annual Residential Space Design Summit and the APDF Interior Design Elite Award Ceremony were grandly held at the Wuzhen Internet International Conference Center in Wuzhen Hall, the permanent venue of the World Internet Conference.

Wu Tao, the President of Bay Area Design Alliance, emphasized that residential space design is a crucial carrier connecting life and aesthetics, functionality, and warmth. Several industry elites delivered captivating theme presentations, including Zhao Haiyan's "Home is the Starting Point No Matter How Far You Go," Li Yi's "Ultimate Beauty," and Chen You's "2026: The Most Flavorful Home Is Imperfect," advocating for a design philosophy that returns to the essence of life.

APDF Interior Design Elite List and Gold WU Award Presentation

The event also featured the grand unveiling of the 2026 APDF Interior Design Elite List, including the "Annual Design Power Person" and "TOP80 Design Person" lists. Over 20 designers, such as Cao Mingyang, Chen Tao, Deyuan, Guo Donghua, Guyue, He Junchen, were honored with the "Annual Design Power Person" title for their solid professional abilities.

The prestigious Gold WU Award was also presented, aiming to discover China's new generation of design talent. Nearly 100 designers were awarded for their outstanding works, with Tan Jianzhong, Executive Director of the Wuxi Interior Designer Association, receiving the "2025 International Design Lifetime Achievement Award" for his outstanding contributions to the industry.
