Guojia Haomeng Home Achieves SBTi Certification and Sets Ambitious Carbon Reduction Goals Guojia Haomeng Home's Commitment to Sustainability and Climate Action
Recently, Guojia Haomeng Home, a subsidiary of Guojia Home Co., Ltd., has officially announced its launch. The company's commitment to reducing emissions has successfully passed the rigorous review of the globally recognized Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This certification signifies that Guojia Haomeng Home's sustainability strategy is now incorporated into the international climate action framework, highlighting its unwavering commitment to the goals of the Paris Agreement for temperature control.
The SBTi is a global initiative jointly established by the Global Environment Information Center (CDP), World Resources Institute (WRI), United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). It aims to provide businesses with a clear framework for setting science-based reduction targets that align with the Paris Agreement's global goal of limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. International leading companies such as Lenovo, IKEA, and Tencent have already passed the SBTi verification, setting clear carbon reduction targets.
Guojia Haomeng Home announced its joining of the SBTi in 2025 and completed the setting of scientific carbon targets as required within the same year. After passing through the SBTi's rigorous review process, on September 23, 2025, Guojia Haomeng Home received the Target Approval Letter issued by SBTi. Here, Guojia Haomeng Home solemnly promises: with 2024 as the baseline year, to reduce the absolute emissions of greenhouse gases in scopes 1 and 2 by 46.2% and in scope 3 by 27.5% by 2031.
The successful passage of the SBTi review is not only a high recognition of Guojia Haomeng Home's sustainability strategy and execution but also brings significant advantages to the company in global market competition. The SBTi certification, as a "hard currency" of international green standards, will further enhance Guojia Haomeng Home's professional credibility and market influence among overseas clients, providing strong support for the company's future expansion into international markets.
